A planning application has been received to demolish the existing Poole Pottery warehouse and shop building next to the quay in order to build a mixed-use development of ground floor commercial units and up to 95 apartments. Associated undercroft parking will also be provided. The neighbouring Swan Inn will become a commercial/shop space on the ground floor with a residential apartment above.
